We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to join our energetic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing all daily operations of a restaurant location. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will lead a high-performing team by ensuring top-notch guest experiences, strong sales performance, and adherence to operational standards. The position involves managing front-of-house and back-of-house teams, recruiting and training team members, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in compliance with health department regulations. You will be responsible for all managerial duties including scheduling, inventory management, labor and food cost control, and driving overall restaurant success. This leadership role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to cultivate a positive culture and uphold the company’s standards.

Job Requirements

  • 2-4 year of experience in related food service management position preferred
  • high school degree or equivalent preferred
  • food manager certification and/or ServSafe manager certificate required
  • ability to work a flexible full-time schedule based on restaurant needs
  • ability to travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, and training

Job Duties

  • Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding front-of-house and back-of-house team members
  • conducting and supervising training and development of team members
  • upholding food preparation standards for consistent quality
  • communicating, training, and coaching team members and shift leaders on new procedures and promotions
  • conducting succession planning one-on-ones with team members
  • ensuring compliance with personal safety, food safety, sanitation, hygiene, appearance, and uniform standards
  • managing daily restaurant operations including opening, closing, and mid shifts
  • increasing sales through guest satisfaction and problem resolution
  • maintaining food quality and availability
  • overseeing restaurant cleanliness, organization, and stock levels
  • assisting in team member development
  • conducting and managing inventory
  • placing food orders and processing invoices
  • tracking and managing labor and food costs
  • preparing work schedules
  • maintaining restaurant equipment
  • ensuring compliance with health department regulations and labor laws
