This role of Restaurant General Manager is a leadership position that sits at the heart of the restaurant's daily operations. The General Manager will lead a dynamic, high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. This position is full-time, with a 50-hour workweek that includes 40 hours at regular pay and 10 hours at time and a half, striking a balance between rewarding work and a manageable schedule. The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000 per year, varying based on geographic location and individual experience.

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training your team, including top Team Members and Shift Leads. You will craft and implement a comprehensive training and development plan, mentoring Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Member Trainers to ensure they excel in their roles and progress in their careers within the company. Your leadership will foster a culture that is optimistic, inclusive, and high performing, with a clear focus on equity and rewarding excellence.

The General Manager actively manages staffing, scheduling, and customer relations, personally stepping in to resolve any issues for guests to maintain a positive experience. Financial acumen is critical to this role as you will analyze the restaurant’s financial performance, manage budgets, and devise strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining high service standards. Your ability to compare and exceed competitors’ service, digital presence, and loyalty programs will ensure the restaurant remains competitive and beloved by its customers.

In addition to operational responsibilities, this role requires an adaptable leader who embraces change and supports change management processes within the restaurant. Maintaining compliance with corporate policies and health and safety standards is essential to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
