Job Description

This job opportunity is with a franchisee of Taco Bell, an independently owned business operating under the globally recognized fast-food brand. It is important to note that this position is with the franchisee only, not Taco Bell Corporation or its affiliates. Franchisees act as independent business owners and set their own wage and benefit programs, meaning compensation and benefits can vary significantly between franchise locations. This role offers a unique chance to be part of one of the most popular quick-service restaurant chains, known for its Mexican-inspired menu, fast service, and community engagement. Working with a franchisee means joining a locally managed team where your efforts directly impact the success and reputation of the restaurant in its community.

The position is focused on ensuring the orderly and efficient functioning of an assigned restaurant. This position requires upholding the core philosophy of quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality, known within Taco Bell’s standards as CHAMPS, as well as following the structured Taco Bell LAST system, which emphasizes a consistent approach to leadership, accountability, standards, and teamwork across the restaurant operation. The role involves managing all day-to-day operations, delivering excellent customer service, and creating an enjoyable environment for both guests and staff.

You will be responsible for enforcing safety rules, policies, and procedures, and contributing to maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction. The position requires a hands-on leader who can work under general supervision, handle high-pressure situations with calmness, and support employee training and development. There is an emphasis on effective communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage various tasks related to staffing, inventory, facility maintenance, and budgeting.

This opportunity is well-suited for individuals with prior food service experience and a comprehensive understanding of restaurant management. You will be expected to take charge of hiring, training, and counseling employees while fostering a positive and cooperative atmosphere among team members, reflecting Taco Bell’s commitment to a welcoming and engaging customer experience. The role typically requires one to two years to fully gain job knowledge, as it involves continuous interaction with both employees and customers.

The working conditions may include exposure to varying temperatures and high noise levels at times, consistent with a busy restaurant environment. Decision-making responsibilities are significant, as you will manage all aspects of restaurant operations, making impactful contributions toward meeting the franchisee’s business goals. Your efforts directly influence customer satisfaction levels, employee morale, and ultimately, the overall profitability of the franchise.

In summary, this position offers a meaningful leadership role in a dynamic, fast-paced restaurant setting. You will play a crucial part in sustaining the franchisee’s reputation for high standards of quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality, fostering a community-focused environment that knows the value of exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for proactive individuals who are capable of multitasking, managing teams, and delivering consistent results in a demanding yet rewarding setting.
