This employment opportunity is with a franchisee of Taco Bell, an independent business owner separate from Taco Bell Corporation or any of its affiliates. As a franchisee employee, you will not be employed by Taco Bell Corp but by the individual franchise owner, who may establish their own wage and benefit programs that differ from others. This distinction is crucial for applicants to understand because the terms of employment, including compensation and benefits, will be set by the franchisee rather than the corporate entity. Taco Bell franchisees operate individual restaurants under the well-known Taco Bell brand, specializing in Mexican-inspired quick-service food offerings. The environment is fast-paced and focused on delivering great food with a friendly customer experience to a diverse customer base. The role available is Restaurant General Manager, a critical leadership position responsible for the overall operation and success of the restaurant.

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will have comprehensive responsibility for the daily management and operation of the entire restaurant location. Your duties include building, training, and managing a strong team to consistently deliver excellent service and high-quality food. A key part of your leadership role involves recruiting, hiring, and developing Team Members and Shift Leads who will help maintain smooth operations and a positive work environment. You will conduct new hire orientation to ensure every team member understands their responsibilities, company standards, and safety protocols. Establishing a detailed training plan for each new employee to support skill development is essential to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.

In addition to team management, you will be responsible for creating and managing the shift schedule to deploy employees effectively during peak and off-peak hours, ensuring optimal staffing levels. Part of your operational duties includes addressing any team member performance issues promptly and constructively to maintain high standards and accountability. Maintaining the restaurant's financial health is also under your purview, requiring you to develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and work towards meeting financial targets. The Restaurant General Manager must act as a role model exhibiting strong interpersonal skills by interacting professionally with customers, Taco Bell management team, and the restaurant staff. Handling conflicts swiftly and effectively to sustain a harmonious work environment is a key leadership behavior. Furthermore, you will ensure the entire team is aligned with the restaurant's business priorities and actively works to achieve sales and service goals. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • You are responsible for the operation of the entire restaurant and building a strong team that consistently provides customers great food and a friendly experience
  • Key responsibilities include finding, hiring and developing Team Members and Shift Leads, conducting new hire orientation and developing the training plan for each new hire
  • You're also responsible for scheduling and deploying the Team correctly, addressing performance issues and managing the restaurant budget and financial plans
