We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is pivotal in leading the restaurant’s daily operations and ensuring that all business objectives are met effectively. The Restaurant General Manager is wholly accountable for both operational and financial performance, maintaining strict compliance with company policies and government regulations related to food safety, labor standards, and health codes. This role demands a leader who can seamlessly manage resources, maintain product integrity, and uphold the company image within the community.
The RGM will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, including recruiting, training, and developing assistant managers, shift managers, and team members. A key focus is fostering a positive and motivating work environment that encourages employee engagement and retention. Performance management is integral to the position, requiring timely and constructive reviews, effective communications, and proper documentation. The RGM also leads efforts to deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring 100 percent guest satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and complaint resolution.
Financial stewardship is another major responsibility, involving the management of payroll, labor costs, food and supply expenses, cash handling, and auditing processes to maximize profitability while protecting company assets. Operational duties include ensuring adherence to cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards, as well as complying with municipal and federal regulations. The General Manager will also champion company marketing programs to drive traffic and boost sales while maintaining close relationships with vendors, restaurant staff, and the larger management team.
This role requires a high degree of personal effectiveness, organizational skills, and the ability to lead collaboratively with a positive and solution-oriented attitude. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be self-motivated, and able to operate independently with minimal supervision. This position is perfect for a results-driven professional with at least three years of restaurant management experience, including P&L responsibility and demonstrated ability to manage multiple shifts. Food safety certification and a valid driver's license are also required, with additional driving requirements for regional roles.

Job Requirements

- Minimum of three years restaurant management experience including P&L responsibility
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
