Job Description
Flynn Group is a leading franchise operator in the United States, known for managing some of the most iconic and world-renowned restaurant brands. Founded in 1999 by Greg Flynn, the company has grown substantially over the years, establishing itself as the largest franchise operator globally. The Flynn Group operates a diverse portfolio of premier restaurant brands, including Applebee's, Arby's, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Planet Fitness. This expansive presence in the food and fitness industry underscores Flynn Group's commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction across multiple segments.
Taco Bell joined the Flynn Group in 2013 through the acquisition of 76 restaurants. Since then, Flynn Group has more than tripled in size to become the third-largest Taco Bell franchisee in the world and continues to experience impressive growth. Central to this success is Flynn Group's dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment where every employee feels valued and empowered to contribute ideas and creativity. The company’s core values—Care Genuinely for People, Play like a Champion, and Win as One—drive a culture that champions teamwork, leadership, and excellence.
The role of Restaurant General Manager at Taco Bell is a critical leadership position with full operational and financial responsibility for a multi-million dollar unit. This position requires a motivated and strategic leader who inspires the team to embrace the Taco Bell philosophy of "Live Mas"—meaning to live more fully through innovative and enthusiastic service. The Restaurant General Manager is tasked with maintaining high standards in guest service, operational procedures, and team management, ensuring that customers receive an exceptional and consistent experience. From recruiting and training employees to handling guest feedback and complaints, the role is dynamic and pivotal to maintaining the high performance and reputation of Taco Bell within the Flynn Group portfolio.
In addition to managing daily restaurant operations, the Restaurant General Manager plays an essential role in developing and motivating employees, ensuring they have the skills and encouragement to meet and exceed business goals. The position offers competitive pay, paid vacation, free meals throughout shifts, a 401(k) plan with company match, healthcare options, and opportunities for personal and professional development. Flynn Group is committed to equal opportunity employment and is dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce. They also provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the application process. This makes Flynn Group a welcoming and rewarding place to build a career in restaurant management.
