The company prides itself on its corporate culture, which emphasizes equity, inclusion, and belonging, creating a vibrant atmosphere that supports career growth and team success. KFC offers competitive pay, bonus opportunities, medical benefits from day one, scholarship programs, and career advancement options, making it a top choice for professionals looking to grow in the restaurant industry.
The Restaurant General Manager role at KFC is a pivotal leadership position designed for a seasoned hospitality professional with a passion for managing teams and driving exceptional restaurant performance. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training a talented crew, including Team Members and Shift Supervisors, ensuring that every individual is prepared to deliver the best service possible. Your focus will be on cultivating a high-performing, motivated team by recognizing and rewarding outstanding achievements, promoting personal and professional development, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.
You will be instrumental in shaping the operational strategies of the restaurant, including managing staffing schedules, overseeing financial performance through budget management and profit maximization strategies, and ensuring all brand standards are met with excellence. This position requires you to be hands-on, engaging directly with customers to resolve any concerns and uphold the company's commitment to exceptional service. Staying attuned to competitor activities and adapting to changing market conditions will be critical to maintaining KFC's competitive edge through innovative customer engagement strategies, including digital platform utilization and loyalty programs.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in restaurant or retail management with a strong background in people management and P&L analysis. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, alongside proficiency with digital tools and a solid understanding of restaurant maintenance protocols. Commitment to KFC’s values, including equity, inclusion, and belonging, will be reflected in your leadership style and team development practices.
This full-time position offers competitive compensation, bonus eligibility, two weeks of vacation plus additional paid time off, scholarship opportunities, and medical benefits from day one. Employees also enjoy free meals during shifts and access to KFC Foundation programs like free college tuition at Western Governors University, the $1 per $1 Savings Match Program, and hardship assistance programs.
