The role of Restaurant General Manager at L.O.V.E. Reporting to the Restaurant Area Director, the General Manager acts as the guardian of the company’s values and culture while steering day-to-day restaurant operations toward best-in-class performance. This position entails leading a team of 65 to 100 employees, creating a training environment that equips team members for success, and mentoring future leaders within the organization. Through embodying the company’s core values such as The Coach (leadership and mentorship), Sparkle (cleanliness), Cheetah (speed and efficiency), The Cheerleader (team morale), The Chef (quality food), and MeMaw (southern hospitality), the General Manager will inspire excellence and engagement.
Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of restaurant operations including cleanliness, food quality, service times, labor management, and financial performance to exceed both guest and shareholder expectations. This role demands a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced quick service restaurant environment, a decisive problem solver who approaches conflict with constructive feedback, and a motivational mentor who encourages a team-oriented culture. Compensation for this full-time position ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 base salary, with a bonus structure that can elevate total earnings beyond $100,000 annually for top performance. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3-5 years restaurant management experience
- experience managing large teams of 50+ employees
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work 10-hour shifts including day and evening
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- valid work authorization
- flexible availability for required shifts
