Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Serv Safe certified
  • Previous restaurant experience desirable
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work multiple shifts and open availability
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some college preferred
  • Previous restaurant management experience desirable
  • Serv Safe certification required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to listen, influence, and present information clearly
  • Understanding of profit and loss analysis, cash control, labor analysis, and food cost calculations
  • Ability to solve complex problems and exercise sound judgment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and open availability required
  • Leadership skills to develop teams and mobilize employees
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of order processing systems

Job Duties

  • Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
  • Checks product quality and communicates with customers and assures availability
  • Effectively trains and coaches employees to show courtesy and handling of complaints
  • Conduct meetings with team members and management team for planning, training, and reviewing operations and policies
  • Develop and maintain acceptable sales levels using local store marketing
  • Monitor utilities, supplies, and costs to minimize impact
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and take corrective actions
  • Follow food preparation and serving procedures
  • Control inventory through the established system
  • Use approved labor guidelines and develop labor schedules
  • Manage restaurant cash control including daily bank deposits
  • Report accidents and incidents to Risk Management timely
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure health department compliance
  • Ensure restaurant cleanliness, employee uniforms, and adherence to brand image standards
  • Inform District Manager about hiring, promotions, and employee status changes
  • Process payroll and maintain applicant tracking
  • Conduct performance reviews and document disciplinary actions
  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with laws
  • Utilize preventive maintenance for equipment and buildings
  • Attend District Manager meetings for planning and training
  • Complete all required administrative paperwork
