Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in restaurant operations
- Must be 18 years or older
- Serv Safe certification
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to analyze financial information including profit and loss statements
- Problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- Flexibility to work various shifts with open availability
- Leadership ability to manage and develop team members
- Basic computer skills
- Pass background check and drug test
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to following safety and health regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Some college preferred
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Serv Safe certified
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to listen, influence others, and present information clearly
- Understanding of profit and loss analysis, cash controls, labor analysis, and food cost calculations
- Ability to solve problems and exercise sound judgment
- Willingness to handle multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change
- Open availability to work a variety of shifts
- Ability to develop and grow others
- Knowledge of order processing systems and basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
- Checks product quality and communicates with customers and assures availability
- Effectively trains and coaches employees to show courtesy and handle complaints
- Conduct meetings with team members and management team to plan, train, and review operations, management procedures and policies
- Develops and maintains an acceptable level of sales using local store marketing
- Monitors utilities, supplies, and other cost categories to minimize impact
- Analyzes profits and loss statements and takes corrective action
- Controls restaurant inventory through an established inventory system
- Uses company approved labor guidelines and develops labor schedules
- Manages restaurant cash control by making bank deposits daily
- Ensures accidents and incidents are reported timely and maintains a safe work environment
- Achieves highest possible rating by the Health Department
- Ensures professional restaurant and team image through adherence to cleanliness and uniform standards
- Keeps District Manager informed of hiring, promotions, and employee status changes
- Processes payroll and maintains applicant tracking
- Conducts performance reviews with team members
- Documents corrective disciplinary action
- Maintains personnel files and posts required federal and state posters
- Utilizes a preventive maintenance system for building and equipment repair
- Attends meetings scheduled by District Manager
- Performs all administrative paperwork as required
