Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience
- Previous event sales experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in using sales and office software
- Ability to work full time with flexible hours
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
- Must comply with company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient with basic office software and sales tools
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Experience preferred in event sales
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Job Duties
- Prepare sales-related documents such as proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders
- Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
- Gather materials and assemble information packages such as brochures and promotional materials
- Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty
- Assist management in developing and executing revenue and marketing programs
- Develop and implement social media initiatives and beverage promotional programs
- Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify sales data in software systems
- Answer guest questions about property facilities and services
- Serve as the point of contact for clients via phone and email
- Coordinate reservation confirmations for special and holiday events
- Coordinate selling of food and beverage in hospitality suites
- Perform general office duties including filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and copying
- Report safety concerns to manager
- Follow company policies and maintain professional appearance
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
- Comply with quality assurance standards
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking, and light lifting
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
