Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience leading others at various organizational levels, preferably at district manager level or higher
  • Multi-unit restaurant management experience in quick-service or full-service chain organizations
  • Must be willing to relocate has a plus
  • Proficiency in restaurant operating, back of house, and point of sale systems
  • Ability to prepare and present ideas with ample notice
  • Ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate decisions
  • Must be able to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to manually lift and move up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push
  • Must be able to read orders, menu boards, and receipts
  • Frequent washing of hands and contact with sanitation solutions
  • Must be able to use computers, telephones, and office equipment
  • Exempt leaders must work minimum 50 hours per week
  • Must support restaurants open 13-16 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Must be able to travel locally and long distances with overnight travel
  • Driving is essential and requires valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Food safety certification and food handler’s certification required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience leading others at various organizational levels, preferably at district manager level or higher
  • Multi-unit restaurant management experience in quick-service or full-service chains
  • Experience managing at least six locations
  • Knowledge of pizza quick-service or full-service chain is a plus
  • Proficiency in restaurant operating, back of house, and point of sale systems
  • Strong general knowledge of working practices, procedures, and techniques
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of budgetary concepts and procedures
  • Advanced understanding of decision making processes and prioritization
  • Ability to train, delegate projects, and manage staff effectively
  • Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to implement strategic direction and work on multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate and ensure operational excellence through training, coaching, performance management, and encouragement of general managers and junior management team members
  • Contribute to the planning and participate in business meetings as required
  • Effectively evaluate conflict resolution skills of management team members and ensure open communication with both leadership and store team members
  • Partner with human resources in investigations and assist with decisions on action
  • Supervise at least six stores and collaborate with the regional director of operations on hiring, promoting, performance management, and discharges
  • Ensure all brand standards and government inspections compliance across district restaurants
  • Work with director of company operations and president on new restaurant site selections and budgeting
  • Monitor sales, labor, food cost and service results, and work with general managers on operational improvements
  • Partner with general managers on strategies for improving brand awareness
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
