Job Duties

  • Prepares cooking items
  • reports to work well-groomed and in clean uniform
  • uses and cleans kitchen equipment and preparation areas
  • stocks and rotates products to maintain shelf life
  • prepares food according to recipes and food safety procedures
  • controls food cost by portioning and preparation standards
  • maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas
  • follows safety and sanitation policies
  • communicates with management and coworkers regarding issues
  • assists with washing and restocking dishes
  • supports front of house staff with dining room cleanliness
  • provides guest service by cooperating with front of house staff
