- 18 years or older (19+ in select states) for deliveries
- 21 years or older for delivering alcohol
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Valid driver's license number
- Social security number for US-based applicants
- Own transportation such as car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Ability to pass background and ID verification checks
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle, scooter, or bicycle in select areas
- Basic smartphone proficiency for app usage
- Good communication skills to interact with customers
- Familiarity with local delivery routes or willingness to learn
- Age requirements met (18+ to deliver, 21+ for alcohol deliveries)
- Completion of the signup process and ID verification
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, stores, or convenience outlets
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Use the DoorDash app to navigate and follow delivery instructions
- Handle food and retail orders with care to ensure quality
- Manage payments and cash out earnings via the app
- Maintain communication with customers and support in case of issues
- Follow local laws and company policies regarding delivery and alcohol if applicable
