- be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol in select states)
- have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- possess a valid driver's license number
- have a social security number (for US residents)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- subject to eligibility and successful ID verification
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- basic smartphone proficiency
- knowledge of the local area and traffic patterns advantageous
- good communication skills
- ability to manage time effectively
- customer service experience a plus
- valid driver's license (if using a motorized vehicle)
Job Duties
- pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retail stores
- deliver food, groceries, and retail items promptly to customers
- manage flexible work schedules by accepting delivery requests as per availability
- use the DoorDash app to navigate routes and communicate with customers
- maintain safe and professional customer interactions
- process cash out promptly using the DoorDash Crimson Visa Debit Card
- ensure compliance with local laws and delivery requirements, including age restrictions for alcohol delivery
