Job Description

Raising Cane's is a well-known fast-casual restaurant brand specializing in chicken finger meals. With a strong reputation for quality food and excellent customer service, Raising Cane's has cultivated a loyal customer base and an energetic workplace environment. This restaurant chain prides itself on being more than just a meal provider; it is a community-oriented business that values teamwork, respect, and a fun work culture. Known for its signature Raising Cane's hat as part of the crew uniform, the company is committed to providing meaningful employment opportunities that cater to a broad range of backgrounds and experience levels. Raising Cane's actively seeks to grow its team by hiring Restaurant Crewmembers who are dedicated to delivering an outstanding dining experience through hard work and enthusiasm.

The role of a Restaurant Crewmember at Raising Cane's is dynamic and multifaceted, making it an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy fast-paced environments and customer interaction. Crewmembers are essential to daily operations—handling tasks ranging from food preparation and order taking to cleaning and customer service. The position involves wearing many hats including cashier, cook, prep cook, drive-thru operator, and general team player. No prior restaurant experience is necessary, as Raising Cane’s provides comprehensive paid training to all new hires, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles.

Hourly starting pay begins at $11.00, with the potential to earn up to an additional $1.50 per hour within the first year. This pay increase is based on additional training, certifications, and performance evaluations, underscoring the company's commitment to employee growth and development. The role offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate various lifestyles and commitments, making it an ideal job for students, part-time workers, or those looking to gain experience in the restaurant industry.

Raising Cane's values key qualities in its crewmembers, including being team players, excellent communicators, and enthusiastic individuals who take pride in their work. Reliability, responsibility, and authenticity are equally important traits that contribute to a positive workplace culture. This role requires physical ability to handle tasks such as lifting objects up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for long periods, but the company supports reasonable accommodations for those with disabilities.

In addition to providing a fun and inclusive work environment, Raising Cane's offers a range of benefits for hourly crew members. These include access to voluntary insurance benefits through a marketplace, a gym membership program, 401(k) retirement plans with employer matching, financial advising, education assistance, and unique perks like pet insurance. Crew members also enjoy paid time off, holiday closures, casual work attire, and employee discount programs.

Overall, a position at Raising Cane's offers much more than just work—it is a stepping stone to a promising career in the restaurant industry, supported by a culture that balances working hard with having fun. If you are motivated by customer service, teamwork, and personal growth, Raising Cane's invites you to join their team and become an integral part of a successful and spirited restaurant brand.
