The Team Member role at Wonder is a versatile and dynamic position offering both full-time and part-time employment options. This position is based at Bakey, located at 370 Harvard St, Brookline, MA. Team Members play a crucial part in bringing menus from Michelin-starred and celebrity chefs to life while creating an inviting and positive experience for every guest. The hourly pay rate is $17.50, with an additional $2.00 per hour premium for overnight shifts worked between midnight and 5:00 AM. Opportunities to earn more include Certified Team Member status with a $0.50 hourly raise and Trainer roles that come with a $1.50 hourly premium.

As a Team Member, you will prepare menu items according to Wonder's high standards while keeping workstations clean, stocked, and organized. You'll also follow strict HACCP and food safety guidelines to ensure proper temperatures and storage are maintained. Accurate inventory management, portion packing, and order verification are essential to deliver high-quality meals to customers reliably. Excellent hospitality is another cornerstone of this role: greeting guests warmly, assisting with orders, pickups, payments, and the Wonder app. You will also share knowledge about menus and support meal-kit and delivery operations as well as participate in local marketing efforts.

Maintaining outstanding sanitation and cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, washing and restocking cookware and utensils, and managing waste disposal effectively are important duties to keep the restaurant environment safe and pleasant. This role demands a team-oriented mindset; supporting teammates, maintaining high energy, and contributing to a positive work environment are all valued aspects. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the US, capable of lifting 50 pounds, able to stand for full shifts, and have weekend availability.

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items to Wonder standards while keeping stations clean, stocked, and organized
  • Follow HACCP and all food-safety guidelines, including proper temperatures and storage
  • Manage inventory scans, pack accurate portions, and ensure every order is correct before it goes out
  • Greet guests warmly and assist with orders, pickups, payments, and the Wonder app
  • Share knowledge about our concepts, support meal-kit and delivery operations, and ensure dispatch accuracy
  • Participate in light local marketing activities such as flyers and street engagement
  • Maintain top-tier sanitation and cleanliness across kitchen and dining areas
  • Wash, clean, and restock cookware, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift
  • Manage trash and recycling properly and report equipment issues promptly
  • Support teammates, jump in where needed, and maintain a positive, high-energy environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
