Job Description
Wonder is a dynamic and innovative food service company dedicated to making world-class cuisine accessible to everyone. The company operates a unique mealtime platform that allows customers to order a diverse array of dishes from over 20 exclusive restaurants in a single order, eliminating the need to compromise on cravings or food preferences. Based in North Andover, Massachusetts, Wonder combines technology and culinary expertise to create a seamless dining experience, offering options for dine-in, pickup, or delivery with no additional fees. By owning and managing every step of the food production process, from recipe development to technology infrastructure, Wonder ensures consistency, quality, and variety at scale. As part of a fast-growing and stable company, employees at Wonder have access to new opportunities for growth and development, including roles as Trainers and Supervisors.
The Team Member role at Wonder offers an exciting opportunity for individuals to contribute to bringing menus from Michelin-starred and celebrity chefs to life while delivering an inviting and positive guest experience. This position supports both full-time and part-time employment, with a competitive pay rate starting at $17.50 per hour. Overnight shifts enjoy a $2.00 hourly premium, applied to hours worked between midnight and 5 a.m. Additional earnings can be earned through certifications and training roles, reflecting Wonder's commitment to rewarding skill development and leadership potential. The role takes place primarily in North Andover, with interviews held at a convenient Starbucks location in Lawrence, MA.
In this role, Team Members will master multiple functions in a fast-paced kitchen and customer-facing environment. Responsibilities include preparing menu items to Wonder's high standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to HACCP and all food safety regulations, and ensuring accuracy and quality in every order. Providing exceptional hospitality is a key focus, requiring warm guest interactions, assistance with orders and the Wonder app, and support for marketing initiatives such as local street engagement and flyer distribution. Team Members also play an important role in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining environment, managing inventory and equipment, and contributing to a positive, high-energy team culture where collaboration and mutual support are valued.
Wonder values diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring an objective hiring process free from discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, military service eligibility, veteran status, marital status, disability, or other protected classes. The company employs an Automated Employment Decision Tool (AEDT) to fairly assess candidates' abilities, skills, and fit for the role. Accommodations are available for applicants with disabilities to ensure an inclusive interview process. Employees benefit from a robust package including free meals during shifts, employee discounts, premium holiday pay, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions. Additionally, Wonder offers an employer Health Savings Account (HSA) match, life insurance fully paid by the employer, employee stock options, and real pathways for career advancement within the company.
Joining Wonder means becoming part of a forward-thinking culinary and technology company committed to providing great food experiences with convenience and quality. Team Members are instrumental to the company's mission, bringing energy, skill, and hospitality to every shift while enjoying meaningful compensation and benefits. This full-time or part-time role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to grow within the food service industry in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
