Job Description
Wonder is an innovative foodservice company committed to making world-class cuisine accessible to everyone. Combining technology with culinary excellence, Wonder operates a unique mealtime platform that offers customers the ability to mix and match hundreds of dishes from over 20 exclusive restaurants in a single order. This model allows diners to enjoy a vast array of meal options—from tacos to Thai—with no delivery fees and the convenience of dine-in or pickup at local Wonder locations. Each dish is freshly prepared on-site by a dedicated culinary team and served hot, ensuring quality, variety, and consistency. Wonder handles every step of the dining experience, from recipe development through the technology that powers the ordering platform, enabling seamless service on a large scale.
The company seeks to expand its team with a Team Member role that is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment, join a dynamic and energetic team, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for customers. This position is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with a competitive starting pay rate of $17.50 per hour. Overnight shifts earn an additional $2.00 per hour from midnight to 5:00 AM, and there are opportunities to earn higher wages through Certified Team Member and Trainer designations, with bonuses of $0.50 and $1.50 per hour, respectively.
As a Team Member, you will play an integral part in the daily operations of Wonder’s locations by preparing menu items to the high standards set by Michelin-starred and celebrity chefs, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and delivering excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include adhering strictly to food safety and HACCP guidelines, managing inventory, ensuring order accuracy, engaging warmly with guests to assist with orders and payments, and supporting meal-kit and delivery operations. A strong team-oriented mindset and positive attitude are essential for thriving in this role. Beyond the kitchen and front-of-house support, you will participate in light local marketing activities and contribute to maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
Wonder provides a work environment that values growth, with clear paths for advancement into trainer and supervisor roles. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package including free meals during shifts, employee discounts, premium pay on company holidays, robust medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, employer-paid life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, a health savings account (HSA) match, and employee stock opportunities. The company is dedicated to fair employment practices and inclusivity, emphasizing diversity and equity in its hiring and operational policies. By joining Wonder, you become part of a rapidly growing, stable company with new opportunities opening regularly, all while helping to make great food more accessible to a broad audience.
