Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must be available to work up to 24 hours each week during the summer season
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays during the summer season
- Must have an outgoing and engaging personality
- Ability to work outside
- Able to communicate clearly

- Prior cash handling experience preferred but not required
- Prior guest service experience preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Works in a professional manner to provide exceptional guest service in a high traffic location
- Listens and communicates effectively while anticipating guest needs
- Operate POS systems in accordance to policy with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Promotes a teamwork environment
- assist co-workers when necessary
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
- Ensure that work and food surfaces are kept clean and neat at all times
- Daily setup and food preparation
- Operation of kitchen equipment including but not limited to fryer, grill, dishwasher, and cleaning equipment
- Adhere to Douglas County Health Department Rules and Regulations for food service
- Accurately take guests orders
- Accurately prepare guests orders in a timely manner
- Provide general information about prices, location of specific attractions/exhibits and safety rules
- Participate in the coordination, set up, and tear down of activities with the ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Adhere to safe work practice and procedures
- Report any accidents immediately to Supervisor or Manager
- Adhere and comply with the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium Employee Handbook
