Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
  • prior experience in a cooking or food preparation role helpful
  • food handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • strong commitment to hygiene and kitchen safety protocols
  • availability to work full-time or part-time shifts
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
  • previous experience as a cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef or other back of house role beneficial
  • food handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • ability to follow recipes and food safety standards
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • flexibility to work full-time or part-time shifts

Job Duties

  • prepare food items according to menu recipes and special dietary or nutritional restrictions
  • determine food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen running and stocked during service
  • ensure proper health and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene and health within the kitchen area
  • work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver high quality food service
  • assist in food preparation and cooking to meet quantity and deadline requirements
  • adhere to all company policies and quality controls
