Job Requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • Have some experience in the food service industry
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills
  • Be adept in poaching, braising, roasting, grilling, sauteing, and frying
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Exhibit teamwork and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
  • Have a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
  • Prefer some experience working in the food service industry
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification

Job Duties

  • Cook food orders at stations by following established recipes and presentation standards for grilling, broiling, and sauteing menu items
  • Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management
  • Demonstrate professional and pleasant demeanor when interacting with visitors, vendors, and associates
  • Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules
  • Set up cooking stations and fill them with all of the essential preparation items for a shift
