Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Maintain an active role in the smoothness and efficiency of retail restaurant operations by producing and coordinating the production of food items needed for daily menus and special events
- Control daily and weekly inventories
- Maintain team awareness of inventory cost and profitability through proper use of production, build-to, and order sheets
- Check in with supervisor for any special preparation needed before starting normal kitchen task
- Coordinate production of daily menu items using menu count and build-to sheets to control waste
- Check inventory of all menus
- Communicate supply needs for production with head cook
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to health and sanitation standards
- Maintain kitchen equipment daily and report any malfunctions
- Maintain flow of food orders by prompt communication with associates
- Verify all special orders with designated associate
- Maintain production of menu items throughout the day, avoiding waste
- Close and sanitize work area promptly according to health codes
- Communicate supply needs to supervisor
- Check in with supervisor before leaving
- Uphold all health and sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus and regulatory bodies
