  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in cooking or food preparation beneficial
  • food handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • good hygiene and cleanliness standards

  • willingness to learn

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef, or other back-of-house role beneficial
  • knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • prepare food items according to menu recipes and special dietary or nutritional restrictions
  • determine food and supplies needed to keep kitchen stocked during service
  • maintain standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health in the kitchen
  • follow proper health and safety procedures
  • meet quantity and deadline requirements for food preparation
  • ensure all food preparation meets hospitality and service standards
  • assist with inventory management and stock rotation
