Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to follow health and safety standards
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Flexibility to work full time or part time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef or other back of house experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
  • Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to menu, recipes, and special dietary or nutritional restrictions
  • Determine food and supplies needed to keep kitchen running and stocked during service
  • Follow proper health procedures and maintain food safety standards
  • Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health
  • Meet or exceed hospitality and service standards in food preparation
  • Work efficiently to meet quantity and deadline requirements
  • Assist in kitchen organization and inventory management
