Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef or other back of house experience preferred
  • Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to prepare food to meet quantity and deadline requirements
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
  • Availability to work full time or part time

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook, line cook, prep cook, or sous chef
  • Knowledge of food preparation and cooking methods
  • Ability to follow recipes and menu guidelines
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to the menu, recipes, and special dietary or nutritional restrictions
  • Determine food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen running and stocked during service
  • Ensure all food preparation meets quantity and deadline requirements
  • Follow proper health procedures and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Maintain standards of appearance, hygiene, and health in the kitchen
  • Collaborate with team members to support efficient kitchen operation
  • Assist in inventory control and food storage management
