Job Description

Chick-fil-A is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain famous for its exceptional customer service, quality food, and community involvement. Known for its chicken sandwiches and commitment to hospitality, Chick-fil-A operates with a culture focused on teamwork, respect, and excellence in service. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are locally owned and operated by independent franchised business owners who prioritize creating a welcoming environment for guests and supporting the growth and development of their team members. The organization is dedicated to cultivating high-performing leaders who positively influence their teams daily, ensuring that guests receive remarkable experiences with every visit.

Working at Chick-fil-A offers more than just employment; it’s an opportunity for leadership development in a people-focused and supportive environment. The role of a Manager at Chick-fil-A is central to fostering a positive culture and uniting the team around the common goal of serving guests with care and efficiency. Managers partner with team members and other leaders to manage the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. This includes leading shifts, handling the responsibilities of a key holder, and being actively involved in training new hires. Managers are empowered to develop team members by embodying the values of respect, encouragement, and accountability.

The Manager position is a full-time role, primarily covering PM shifts from 2 pm to 11 pm, with required availability on Monday and Saturday nights, while Sundays are off. The weekly hours total 40, offering a stable and structured schedule. The pay range is competitive, from $23.00 to $24.00 per hour, reflecting the important leadership responsibilities and team-building efforts associated with the role.

This role allows managers to acquire valuable skills beyond typical restaurant duties, including communication, leadership, and conflict management, all while contributing to the positive impact Chick-fil-A has on its community. Managers are not only responsible for operational excellence but also for maintaining a healthy work culture that cultivates unity and growth among team members. By doing so, they help make the world around them a better place through excellent service and positive leadership.

Chick-fil-A also offers various benefits designed to support the well-being and professional development of managers. These benefits include paid time off after six months in the manager role, flexible scheduling options that respect personal time such as the restaurant being closed on Sundays, scholarship opportunities, and comprehensive health insurance packages covering dental and vision. Additionally, managers enjoy access to a 401(k) plan for financial planning and an employee discount as part of the employment package. Overall, the Manager position at Chick-fil-A is ideal for individuals passionate about leadership, guest service, and working in a dynamic, growth-oriented team environment.
