The position offered is a full-time management role located in Miami, Florida, at 455 Grand Bay Drive. This unique opportunity is based in a single restaurant concept inspired by Marriott International's innovative approach, integrating culinary distinction with business acumen. The role offers an annual salary ranging between $101,000 and $130,000 and includes eligibility for bonuses, recognizing outstanding performance and contribution to business success.

As a Management professional at this prestigious establishment, you will be responsible for driving innovation and delivering exceptional business results. Your duties will include overseeing and creating new restaurant applications, ideas, relationships, systems, and products. Artistic contributions to the restaurant's concept will also be a key aspect of the role, helping to foster a memorable and unique brand identity that resonates with guests.

You will work closely with the Restaurant General Manager and hotel/brand marketing teams to develop and execute marketing and public relations strategies that enhance the restaurant's visibility and promote guest engagement. This role demands a strong focus on creating and maintaining a prominent image in the market while supporting both on-site and off-site public relations opportunities, social media communications, and community events.

Building strong, enduring relationships with guests and colleagues lies at the heart of this role. You will engage with customers directly to obtain feedback and ensure a superior guest experience by supervising kitchen operations and managing the quality and presentation of food. Emphasis will be placed on crafting exciting and memorable dining experiences.

Financial responsibility is central to this management role as you will be accountable for achieving restaurant-specific profit and loss goals. Collaborating with the Restaurant General Manager, you will use entrepreneurial skills to identify financial opportunities, assess culinary trends, and actively participate in sales processes to drive revenue growth. Managing kitchen goals including budget, team performance, and productivity will also be an essential part of your duties.

In addition, you will play an important role in human resource and talent management activities. This includes participating in recruiting efforts, interviewing, hiring, coaching, mentoring, and managing employee relations and performance evaluations. You will support staff development through training programs focused on culinary specialties, menu knowledge, and guest service skills while fostering a positive and cooperative team environment.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from an accredited university in culinary arts hotel and restaurant management or related major
  • 2 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related professional area
  • ability to lead and manage kitchen operations
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • familiarity with marketing public relations and social media
  • experience in financial management and achieving business goals
