Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years cooking experience
  • Minimum of 1 year kitchen supervisory experience
  • Previous dish/menu creation experience
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Experience in banquet and hotel environments is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead daily culinary production including meal preparation, food quality and presentation, safety and sanitation compliance, team productivity, cost control, and profitability
  • Perform general management duties including systems management, budgeting, forecasting, report generation, department management and meeting facilitation
  • Visually inspect, select and use quality food and beverage products including fruits, vegetables, meats, fish and spices
  • Create and implement new menus and individual food items
  • Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, professional development, counseling, evaluations, scheduling, and recognition
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
