Delaware North's Patina Group is seeking full-time and part-time Restaurant Cashiers to join the team at Morimoto Asia, located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The Restaurant Cashier role at Morimoto Asia involves collaborating closely with dining room, service, and kitchen teams to facilitate transactions efficiently and accurately. Cashiers are responsible for tracking orders, handling money, validating payment methods, issuing receipts, and providing change when necessary. This role requires excellent guest service skills to ensure a positive dining experience. Cashiers will use the restaurant's point of sale system to manage orders and transactions accurately. They are also tasked with maintaining an organized checkout area, keeping stationeries like receipt paper fully stocked, and adhering to cash handling protocols such as counting cash drawers at the beginning of shifts. Job Duties
- Collaborate with dining room service and kitchen team members to keep track of all orders monetary situations and charges validating methods of payment completing transactions and providing accurate change documentation and receipts and dispensing the accurate amount if needed
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts
- Scan items and ensure pricing is correct resolving discrepancies and processing payments
- Clean up checkout area and keep organized keep receipt paper and other stationery stocked
- Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant tables orders using the venue’s primary point of sale system
