Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Safety-minded with the ability to work well in a team
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to maintain professionalism and diplomacy in difficult situations
Job Qualifications
- Strong customer service personality and skills
- Some prior experience in a customer service or restaurant environment preferred
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings
- Current Food Handlers Card, preferably from ServSafe
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a genuine and warm welcome
- Use Burger Lounge dialog and organized food presentation techniques
- Follow sauce protocol procedures for offering and presenting sauces
- Circulate the dining room to engage with guests and anticipate needs
- Brew iced tea, prepare milkshakes and floats, pour beer and wine if age-appropriate
- Process guest orders accurately using the POS system and handle cash and card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and dining area
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Perform front of house opening and closing tasks according to standards
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned
