Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to speak Spanish is preferable
  • Proficient conversational and written English
  • Able to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds or more
  • Must have valid Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire
  • Must be fluent in English

Job Duties

  • Set up bus stations with all necessary items for the shift including water, silver, napkins, salt and pepper shakers, wiping towels, coffee, iced tea, lemonade, and any other needed supplies
  • Help clear soiled dishes from tables including glassware, silver, bread plates, and other items not in use
  • Reset tables by wiping, cleaning, and setting them up for the next guest
  • Perform any duties deemed necessary by the manager to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Close down stations by putting away supplies, cleaning bus areas, and completing closing duties as assigned
  • Know the menu and be able to answer guest questions about food and the hotel
  • Perform side work in a timely and accurate manner
  • Engage warmly with guests with eye contact and a smile
  • Follow and deliver 5 Star service standards by anticipating guest needs
  • Ensure fluency in English to communicate effectively
