Job Description

Outback Steakhouse is a renowned casual dining restaurant chain celebrated for its bold flavors and signature Aussie-inspired dishes. As part of the Bloomin' Brands family, Outback Steakhouse has built a reputation for providing a memorable dining experience through a combination of exceptional food and warm hospitality. The restaurant embodies a vibrant and inclusive culture that values teamwork, diversity, and commitment to excellent service. With locations across the nation, Outback Steakhouse offers a dynamic work environment where employees, known as "Outbackers," play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. The company is dedicated to fostering professional growth and offers competitive pay alongside comprehensive benefits, making it an attractive employer in the hospitality industry.

The role of Restaurant Busser at Outback Steakhouse is integral to the smooth operation of the dining room. Bussers serve as the foundation of the front-of-house team by maintaining cleanliness and ensuring tables are promptly reset for incoming guests. Beyond simply cleaning, bussers practice "pre-bussing" during meals to remove unnecessary dishes and debris, contributing to a more efficient and pleasant dining experience. This position demands energetic and customer-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting and who can communicate and coordinate effectively with servers and hosts. Working as a Restaurant Busser, you will be at the heart of the dining experience, guaranteeing that every guest enters an environment that is spotless, inviting, and ready for service. This role offers flexible scheduling options, including night and weekend shifts, which can accommodate a variety of personal schedules. In addition to competitive hourly wages starting at $9 plus tips, bussers benefit from comprehensive health plans, retirement savings options, and the chance to grow within the Bloomin' Brands family. If you enjoy energetic teamwork, engaging with colleagues, and being an essential part of a fast-moving restaurant team, the Busser position at Outback Steakhouse provides an ideal opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a supportive and fun environment.
