Job Requirements
- Minimum two years bartending or related work experience
- Knowledge of Napa Valley and surrounding areas is highly desirable
- Preferred experience in a luxury resort or hotel
- Strong written and oral presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment
- Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks
- Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations and guests
- Valid US work authorization
- Position not eligible for work sponsorship or visa

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and Four Seasons Standards
- Maintain strong working knowledge of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic ingredients and drinks to answer questions and accommodate off-menu requests
- Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests using the hotel’s point-of-sales system and check completed orders with the guest’s original request
- Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- Breakdown, clean and set up bar and back-bar stations
- Properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and settle voided checks or complimentary items
