Job Description

Four Seasons is a globally recognized luxury hospitality company renowned for its exceptional service and commitment to creating memorable experiences for its guests. Powered by a diverse team of dedicated professionals, Four Seasons emphasizes a culture of respect, continuous improvement, and genuine care. Employees are encouraged to push their limits while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. The company is deeply committed to delivering a world-class employee experience, knowing that this foundation enables its team to offer unparalleled guest service across all its locations worldwide. Four Seasons is not just about luxury accommodations; it’s about crafting lasting impressions that guests, residents, and partners cherish for a lifetime. This philosophy is embedded in everything Four Seasons does, from recognizing familiar faces to welcoming new ones with warmth and respect.

Located in the heart of North America's premier wine country, the Four Seasons Resort offers a unique and luxurious escape nestled within a prestigious vineyard in Napa Valley. This Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star resort seamlessly blends the beauty of its natural surroundings with top-tier amenities and service. Guests can indulge in innovative seasonal cuisine at the Michelin-starred Auro restaurant, rejuvenate with holistic spa treatments at Spa Talisa, and enjoy personalized service that exemplifies the Four Seasons standard. The resort’s blend of serene landscapes and sophisticated offerings makes it an exceptional destination for travelers seeking a luxurious wine country experience.

The role of Bartender at Four Seasons Resort in Napa Valley, serving TRUSS Restaurant + Bar and Auro, is a key position that requires a balance of expert knowledge, finesse, and guest engagement. Bartenders are expected to deliver exceptional customer service by preparing and serving a wide array of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks while adhering to established recipes and the brand’s rigorous standards. Proficiency in the preparation and mixing of beverages is crucial, as is the ability to provide guests with insightful information about the origin, taste, and preparation of their drinks. The role demands responsiveness to guest needs and requests, ensuring maximum satisfaction through courteous and professional communication.

In addition to beverage preparation, bartenders play a vital role in maintaining an inviting atmosphere at the bar area by engaging with guests, managing point-of-sale transactions, and handling cash and credit card payments accurately. They must also uphold high cleanliness standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning bar stations efficiently. This position offers competitive hourly wages starting at $19.63 and includes benefits such as complimentary employee meals and 401k retirement plans. The schedule is flexible, requiring availability for part-time or on-call shifts, including early mornings, mid-days, and evenings, supporting the resort’s round-the-clock operations.

Candidates interested in this opportunity should possess at least two years of bartending or related experience, ideally with exposure to luxury resorts or hotels. Knowledge of the Napa Valley region is a plus but not mandatory. Strong multitasking abilities, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this fast-paced, high-volume environment. It is important to note that this position does not offer work sponsorship or visas; candidates must have valid US work authorization. Joining Four Seasons means becoming part of a company that values diversity and inclusiveness, offering equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals, including minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. This role not only promises professional growth but also the chance to contribute to an esteemed legacy of luxury hospitality excellence.
