The Bartender role at CSM is focused on preparing and serving beverages and food to guests while maintaining a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor. This position requires adherence to all health and safety standards, as well as compliance with state and local liquor regulations. The Bartender ensures exceptional guest service by greeting guests warmly, efficiently taking and delivering orders, and providing expert drink preparation according to brand recipes and standards. The position demands a high level of organization, accuracy with cash handling, and proficiency in operating POS systems such as Micros. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards of the bar and surrounding areas to promote a safe and pleasant work environment.

Moreover, this role requires collaboration with servers and other team members to meet guest needs effectively. Bartenders play an essential part in inventory control and cost management by using equipment properly, minimizing waste, and completing inventory sheets with accuracy. Physical demands of the role include lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds regularly and handling kegs weighing up to 150 pounds occasionally.
