The company prides itself on fostering a supportive work environment that emphasizes a Culture of Excellence, where employees are empowered to control their career paths and achieve upward mobility, evidenced by a track record of associates advancing to senior leadership roles. At HVMG, the hotel business is more than a job—it is a platform for individuals to grow professionally and personally with meaningful opportunities nationwide. This ethos is captured by associates who testify to HVMG as "the best management company" they have worked for, highlighting the company's integrity from the corporate office through to property-level management.
The role of Bartender/Mixologist at HVMG is a dynamic, engaging position perfect for those who possess a passion for hospitality and a flair for creative beverage crafting. In this role, you will be at the heart of the hotel's social atmosphere, responsible for designing and mixing both classic and innovative cocktails that delight guests and elevate their experience. This position offers a unique blend of artistry and customer service, demanding not only technical skills in drink preparation but also exceptional interpersonal abilities to engage with patrons warmly and professionally.
Beyond cocktail creation, the Bartender/Mixologist will manage bar inventory, maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar environment, and consistently provide outstanding customer service. Reporting directly to the Beverage Manager or Bar Supervisor, this role is essential for supporting the smooth and successful operation of the hotel bar. It also presents substantial career advancement opportunities within the hospitality sector. Employment with HVMG as a Bartender/Mixologist includes a flexible schedule requirement, with expectations for availability during evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays. This flexibility aligns with the hospitality industry’s demands and ensures that guests receive exceptional service during peak times. The company values associates who embody a warm and professional demeanor consistent with HVMG’s Culture of Excellence.
HVMG also offers competitive benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision), a 401(k) plan with a guaranteed 4% match and no vesting period, exclusive hotel and food and beverage discounts, and access to a financial wellness program called PayActive, which allows associates to access up to 40% of their earned wages before payday. These benefits underscore the company’s commitment to supporting its workforce both professionally and personally, fostering a positive employee experience.
