Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking experience preferred
- Food safety certification required or willingness to obtain
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to following safety and hygiene protocols
- Willingness to wear uniform and personal protective equipment while on duty
Job Qualifications
- Experience in baking or related role preferred
- Established knowledge of baking procedures and compliance with sanitation regulations
- Certification required for food safety
- Mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage physical activities including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing
- Awareness and compliance with uniform and PPE requirements
Job Duties
- Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
- Arrange work surface with essential supplies and ingredients for baking
- Organize components by measuring, weighing, combining, chopping, and other preparation steps
- Work with baking gadgets such as ovens, stovetops, and mixers
- Practice safe handling of utensils like knives during cooking and preparation
- Adhere to guidelines for safe storage of food products
- Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils to maintain hygiene
- Prioritize exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude with guests and coworkers
- Follow Aramark's safety protocols focusing on food safety and sanitation practices
- Uphold organizational asset safety by complying with established security guidelines
