Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a baking or food preparation environment preferred
  • Certification or willingness to obtain certification in food safety
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to hygiene standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in baking or related role preferred
  • Knowledge of baking procedures, criteria, and sanitation regulations
  • Certification required for food safety
  • Basic mathematical skills and numeracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking
  • Willingness to comply with uniform and PPE requirements

Job Duties

  • Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
  • Arrange work surface with all essential supplies and ingredients for baking
  • Prepare components by measuring, weighing, combining, chopping, and other preparation steps
  • Operate baking equipment such as ovens, stovetops, and mixers
  • Practice safe handling of utensils while cooking and preparing meals
  • Adhere to safe storage guidelines for food products
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils to maintain hygiene
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive attitude
  • Follow Aramark's safety protocols including food safety and sanitation practices
  • Comply with established security guidelines to protect organizational assets
