Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in baking or a related role is preferred
  • Established knowledge of baking procedures and sanitation regulations
  • Certification for acquiring food safety
  • Mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal forms
  • Ability to manage physical activities like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing
  • Willingness to comply with uniform and personal protective equipment requirements

Job Duties

  • Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
  • Arrange work surface with all essential supplies and ingredients
  • Organize components by measuring, weighing, combining, chopping, and other preparation steps
  • Work with baking gadgets like ovens, stovetops, and mixers
  • Practice safe handling of utensils while cooking and preparing meals
  • Adhere to guidelines for safe storage of food products
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils after use to promote hygiene
