Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting and standing for long periods
- Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required
Job Qualifications
- Experience in baking or a related role is preferred
- Established knowledge of baking procedures and sanitation regulations
- Certification for acquiring food safety
- Mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal forms
- Ability to manage physical activities like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing
- Willingness to comply with uniform and personal protective equipment requirements
Job Duties
- Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
- Arrange work surface with all essential supplies and ingredients
- Organize components by measuring, weighing, combining, chopping, and other preparation steps
- Work with baking gadgets like ovens, stovetops, and mixers
- Practice safe handling of utensils while cooking and preparing meals
- Adhere to guidelines for safe storage of food products
- Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils after use to promote hygiene
