Job Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • good verbal communication skills
  • English proficiency required bilingual a plus
  • ability to operate available equipment such as registers calculators or scanners
  • basic mathematical skills as needed to make change
  • ability to work in group setting as well as independently
  • knowledgeable about company products and services
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • food handling certification must be completed within first month of employment
  • restaurant experience preferred
  • one year related experience or training
  • prolonged periods of standing and working on cash register or related equipment
  • must be able to lift up to and occasionally move up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Greets customers and ensures a welcoming environment
  • oversees daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • supervises staff providing guidance support and accountability
  • assists with training scheduling and onboarding of new team members
  • manages inventory supplies and invoices to maintain accurate stock levels
  • handles customer service concerns and resolves complaints promptly and professionally
  • accepts and processes payments accurately
  • ensures accurate transactions by balancing register at beginning and end of shift and sales at end of shift
  • monitors safety and cleanliness of the restaurant including sweeping mopping wiping surfaces stocking condiments and maintaining clean glass and dining areas
  • performs opening and closing routine duties to prepare the restaurant as a welcoming space
  • ensures compliance with food handling procedures safety protocols and health regulations
  • adheres to dress code requirements while on duty
  • maintains a positive attitude and adheres to the Cooper purpose and core values
  • follows all Cooper policies HIPAA requirements and standard operating procedures
  • completes duties on site with consistent regular and reliable attendance
  • accomplishes other duties as assigned
