Job Description

Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- certification in Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol preferred
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- capability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- good reading and writing skills
- finger and hand dexterity
- willingness to work in multiple restaurant positions as needed
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food certification is a plus
- Serve Safe Alcohol certification is a plus
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent problem-solving abilities
- good communication skills
- knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work under stress and maintain professionalism
Job Duties
- Ensure timely and friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivate a culture based on Flynn Applebee's core values
- respond promptly to verbal guest complaints and ensure correction
- complete required guest table visits
- maintain departmental inventory levels
- perform line checks to ensure product preparation and presentation meet standards
- schedule employees effectively to meet sales demands
- maintain safety and security programs
- promote cleanliness and sanitation
- report and assist with routine maintenance needs
- recruit and refer potential team members and managers
- support training and development programs for staff
- conduct employee performance assessments and provide feedback
- monitor and document employee performance
- ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- control costs in assigned departments
- perform bi-weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories
- prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- ensure sanitation meets Health Department and company standards
- act as a role model for staff
- develop proficiency in store technology
- assist in various team member roles as needed
- use Management Development Program for leadership growth
