As a Restaurant Assistant Manager at Pilot Flying J, you play a critical role in overseeing the operations of high-volume, quick-service restaurants located within travel centers. This role requires a passionate leader who can support the Restaurant General Manager by managing daily restaurant functions, ensuring smooth and efficient service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and guest satisfaction. The Restaurant Assistant Manager is indispensable for fostering a positive work environment for team members, promoting collaboration, and delivering an exceptional experience to guests. Responsibilities include assisting with team member recruitment, training, coaching, and development, as well as filling in for the General Manager as needed. Additionally, you will oversee food preparation activities, expedite service, and enforce stringent food safety and cleanliness protocols.
