The role of the Assistant General Manager (AGM) is an essential component of our restaurant leadership team. This position offers a salary-exempt employment status, with compensation competitive and dependent upon the candidate's skills and experience. The AGM will work closely with the General Manager to oversee restaurant operations, ensuring the continued success and profitability of their location. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional with a strong customer focus, keen leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Assistant General Managers are responsible for training, developing, and mentoring staff to ensure a welcoming and productive workplace. They play a critical role in fostering an environment that supports both employees and guests, creating a warm atmosphere for dining and working alike. Key duties include maximizing store sales and profit goals by driving operational efficiencies, monitoring food safety procedures, and maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness (QSC).
As protectors of the Wendy's brand and assets, Assistant General Managers must demonstrate a strong drive for results and consistently go above and beyond to serve our guests with excellence. This leadership role requires excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, as well as a solid understanding of financial performance indicators such as cost of goods sold. The position necessitates flexibility with work hours, including the willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, often accumulating 50-55 hours per week.

Job Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent
- possess all documents required by state and federal law
- minimum of two years shift supervisor or one year assistant manager experience
- flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week including weekends and holidays
- valid driver's license in good standing
- access to private transportation
- demonstrated leadership ability
- working knowledge of cost of goods sales
- excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- results oriented and customer focused
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two years shift supervisor experience or one year assistant manager experience
- preferred background in high volume QSR or fast casual concepts
