Job Description

Great Western Restaurants, Inc., operating under the well-known Golden Corral brand, is a reputable franchise organization specializing in the restaurant industry. Golden Corral is renowned for its buffet-style dining experience and has built a strong presence nationwide by providing quality food service with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. As part of a large and established franchise, Great Western Restaurants offers the stability of a prominent brand combined with the supportive environment of an independently owned and operated franchise. The company emphasizes employee growth and development, fostering a workplace where individuals can thrive personally and professionally.

We are currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals eager to join our dynamic team. This entry-level, hourly management position offers a unique opportunity to be cross-trained in various skill areas within the restaurant. Candidates will gain comprehensive knowledge of operational tasks including ordering, receiving, storage, and menu planning. Working closely alongside the General Manager and Kitchen Manager, you will complete a structured 7-week hands-on training program designed to develop your management skills and prepare you for success in the fast-paced food service industry. Our training modules are thorough and designed to ensure you are equipped with the knowledge necessary to manage restaurant operations effectively.

Golden Corral is committed to providing a robust benefits package to meet the diverse needs of our employees and their families. Some of the highlighted benefits include a flexible work schedule that promotes work-life balance, clearly defined training paths to accelerate career development, monthly bonuses as recognition for hard work, and free meals during your shifts to keep you energized throughout the day. Furthermore, the employee referral program rewards team members who bring talented individuals into our organization, reinforcing our team-oriented culture. Medical, dental, and vision insurance options become available after 60 days of employment, ensuring that your health needs are well supported. Additionally, we offer a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, with enrollment open upon hire, helping you secure your financial future.

If you are someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced, fun team environment and are looking for a career path with opportunities for advancement, Golden Corral is an excellent choice. We seek hardworking individuals, preferably with some restaurant management experience, who are ready to grow and develop within a top-tier company. The position requires a commitment to flexible scheduling, including availability for 10-hour shifts that encompass evenings and weekends. Physical requirements for the role include the ability to bend, kneel, lift between 25 to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods without a break. These essential physical demands ensure that you can handle the dynamic tasks the role entails.

Please note that this job opportunity is posted by an independent franchisee of Golden Corral Corporation. This franchisee operates independently, handling all hiring decisions directly. The franchisee's management team will be your point of contact throughout the application process. Golden Corral Corporation itself does not employ individuals at this location, highlighting the personalized nature of your employment experience at this franchise. If you are ready to take the next step in your restaurant management career with a supportive franchise organization that is committed to your success, we encourage you to apply today by texting GCTeams to 719-212-4802.
