We are currently seeking a committed and experienced Assistant Manager to join our operations team at our Redmond location. This full-time, nonexempt role reports directly to the General Manager and requires an individual who is passionate about leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving business success. The Assistant Manager will emphasize quality, teamwork, and efficiency to uphold Potbelly’s high standards. This position requires approximately 45 hours per week, involving standing, walking, and manual activity, with the ability to lift and endure varying work conditions.
As an Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in training, coaching, and developing associates and shift leaders to maintain excellent product standards and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will extend to managing scheduling, enforcing company policies, handling customer concerns constructively, and ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. Additionally, you will manage sales, control costs effectively, and uphold food safety regulations. Job Requirements

- minimum 2 years management experience in restaurant or retail
- high school diploma
- food safety certification required
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours daily
- willingness to work at least 45 hours per week

Job Qualifications
