Job Description

Lucky Strike Entertainment, formerly known as Bowlero Corp, is a leading company in the location-based entertainment industry offering premier experiential activities such as bowling, amusements, water parks, and family entertainment centers. With over 360 locations across North America, Lucky Strike Entertainment has established itself as a major player in the entertainment sector, blending fun, excitement, and social experiences for guests of all ages. Additionally, the company owns the Professional Bowlers Association, a prestigious bowling league and media property attracting millions of fans worldwide. This unique positioning allows Lucky Strike Entertainment to deliver diverse entertainment options fueled by an established brand and a broad customer base.

This job opening is for the role of Restaurant / Entertainment Manager at one of Lucky Strike Entertainment's vibrant centers. The role is a dynamic, on-your-feet position that involves coordinating multiple team members and managing various aspects of the center’s operations. Restaurant / Entertainment Managers closely assist the General Manager in running the center and take full responsibility during the General Manager’s absence. This includes overseeing the entertainment floor, food and beverage services, and the care and maintenance of property and equipment. The Restaurant / Entertainment Manager is essential in creating a memorable guest experience by continually promoting exceptional service and addressing guest feedback promptly.

The role requires a commitment to improving operational execution, ensuring efficient staffing, and capitalizing on business opportunities like leagues and open play bowling. Developing effective relationships with league bowlers and officers is part of the responsibilities, as well as handling administrative duties related to leagues. Recruiting, hiring, training, and scheduling a talented team of hourly staff forms the backbone of the managerial duties to assemble a high-performing team.

Restaurant / Entertainment Managers lead their teams through motivation, delegation, and leveraging individual strengths to maximize guest satisfaction and center productivity. They also play a pivotal role in managing and expanding the Food & Beverage program, guaranteeing high product quality and guest delight in dining experiences. The role demands flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays depending on operational needs.

Candidates ideally have over two years of management experience in food service operations such as kitchens, bars, and restaurants. A bachelor's degree is preferred, alongside strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, and proficiency with POS register systems. The ability to supervise center operations staff and develop people is critical. The work environment is physically engaging, common to entertainment venues, requiring walking, bending, standing for long periods, and occasionally lifting objects with assistance.

The pay range for this position is between $30.00 and $31.00 per hour. In addition to competitive hourly compensation, Lucky Strike Entertainment offers performance-based incentives and an extensive benefits package that includes healthcare coverage among others. The company encourages career advancement, with this position serving as a significant stepping stone for those aspiring to become General Managers. Overall, this role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fun, lively industry while cultivating leadership skills and contributing directly to guest satisfaction and business growth.
