Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
  • Ability to enter orders accurately into POS system
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must wear non-slip oil-resistant shoes
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Reliable and punctual attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of POS systems and order entry
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to recommend food and beverage pairings

Job Duties

  • Help guests select food and beverages by presenting menu offering cocktails and aperitifs suggesting courses explaining chef's specialties identifying appropriate wines and answering food preparation questions
  • Enter orders to POS system and record guests' choices special dietary needs and special requests
  • Keep kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression
  • Process guest payment transactions accurately and close out table balancing all payment methods with accuracy to sales report
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work areas keep area stocked
  • Prepare room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations condiments candles napkins service plates and utensils
  • Follow all standard food handling sanitation TIPS and health department regulations
