Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service and cash handling experience desired
- Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division required
- Ability to communicate verbally face-to-face
- Ability to learn and use telephone and computer systems
- Completion of required training
- Ability to work on a standing basis for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to comply with all safety policies, including use of PPE
- Ability to maintain punctuality and regular attendance
Job Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and hotel service standards is a plus

Job Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their table
- Provide guests with menus and explain restaurant offerings
- Assist guests in selecting food and beverages by explaining house specialties and answering questions
- Inspect tables for cleanliness and proper presentation
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with meals and service
- Maintain cleanliness of work and waiting areas in line with department standards
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and health department guidelines
- Communicate meal timing to kitchen staff
- Monitor and replenish buffet selections as needed
- Enter guest orders and payments accurately into POS system
- Wear non-slip, oil-resistant shoes and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Report safety issues and maintain compliance with PPE and HAZMAT programs
- Report to work on time and maintain regular attendance
