Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of related experience
- Alcohol awareness certification preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow reservation and seating procedures
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions according to policy
Job Qualifications
- High school education
- One or more years of related experience
- Alcohol awareness certification preferred
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred
- Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service
- Ability to understand and comply with proper seating chart rotation
- Ability to process guest bills and payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card transactions, room charge processes and accounting policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests properly and issue menus
- Ensure all tables are properly set before seating guests
- Ensure all menus are clean
- Maintain and use seating chart for rotation of stations
- Organize and maintain a clean service podium
- Answer the phone properly and follow all reservation procedures
- Follow all cash handling, credit card transactions and room charge procedures for guest payments
- Complete assigned side work and related cleaning duties
