Recognized as a great place to work, GardaWorld is the only guarding security company in the United States certified by Great Place to Work. This recognition reflects the company's commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and promoting career growth opportunities for all employees.
At GardaWorld Security Services, the role of a Response Security Officer is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of assigned locations while delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time position is based in Mt. Sterling, KY, with a set schedule from Wednesday through Saturday, 2nd shift, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. Offering a competitive hourly wage of $16.93, the role demands an individual who can adapt quickly and efficiently to a variety of situations and security challenges. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees, providing financial flexibility and convenience.
The Response Security Officer's responsibilities encompass monitoring premises, conducting patrols, controlling access points, and responding swiftly to incidents or potential threats. This dynamic role requires the ability to think quickly on your feet and maintain composure during critical moments. Officers must deliver accurate and detailed reports on their observations and incidents, collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, and ensure the ongoing safety of individuals and property at all times. The position demands a high level of alertness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing environments and situations.
In addition to competitive pay, GardaWorld offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health and well-being of its employees. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and employees are encouraged to pursue career advancement within the company, as a significant portion of GardaWorld's corporate leadership started in frontline roles like this one.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who have a strong sense of responsibility, enjoy working in fast-paced environments, and are looking to grow their career in the security industry. Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is a plus but not mandatory. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, possess a high school diploma or GED, and pass an extensive screening process including a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended. GardaWorld Security Services is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion across all aspects of employment.
